Waitlist & Reservation Hub (All-in-One)
Waitlist, reservations, seating, and ordering—one Hub
Pain points
- Paper waitlists, booking tablets, and POS live in different places
- OpenTable or Google bookings sit apart from walk-ins—double seating happens
- Multi-floor still relies on staff seating and table #—no guest phone floor-plan nav; wait times are guesses
Capabilities
- Waitlist join, call, manual/auto seating
- Online booking + OpenTable / Reserve with Google imports
- TV wall queue/call display
- Server assignment per table
- Dynamic estimated wait
- Same stack as dine-in ordering & membership
- Configure queues and reservation slots Hub defines party ranges and table pools (waitlist needs postpay + plan/shop flag); public booking or imported channels lock tables near meal time.
- Sync TV wall with Hub calls Large displays mirror queue and call state—counter, hosts, and guests see the same numbers.
- Assign servers and dynamic waits Assign servers per table; estimates refresh from queue depth and table turns; seat from waitlist pools (manual/auto).
- Show table # after call, then seat to order After call, show table number and seat countdown; after seating, NFC ordering and loyalty stay on the same stack.
FAQ
Do you SMS or LINE ping guests automatically?
Today we focus on TV wall, browser push, and in-venue calls. After seating, guests move into NFC ordering. Auto SMS/LINE pings are not part of this module.
Do you take reservation deposits?
This Hub covers waitlist, booking, and seating ops. Deposits or prepay checkout follow your shop policy and other VDine payment settings—not a default waitlist/reservation feature.
How does this connect to NFC table ordering?
After waitlist or reservation seating is confirmed, guests tap NFC or scan the table code into the same ordering and membership flow—orders hit LiveOrders Hub and kitchen.
